The International Relations and Labor Committee of the Parliament today guided the administration to do the needful to quit counseling firms from "plundering" Malaysia-bound Nepali specialists in name of visa handling and other charges.A Nepali trying to work in Malaysia needs to pay at any rate Rs 17,600 visa expense and different charges under various headings. The Malaysian Embassy in Kathmandu has set up a counseling firm for visa handling. The House board today summoned Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi, Foreign Secretary Shankar Das Bairagi and Labor Secretary Laxman Prasad Mainali and asked why the specialists were being charged excessively for the sake of visa and consultancy expenses.
